Fusion Conference and Chinese New Years’ Game Night this weekend!

A great conference this Friday evening until Saturday afternoon in Orlando called Fusion Conference is an event for 20 and 30-somethings. It will be a great opportunity to meet and worship with other believers from across the state who are your age. If you are interested in coming along, admission will be $20 per person at the group rate of 5+ people together and $25 per person elsewise. Also, on Saturday evening, February 17th, we will be celebrating the Chinese New Years with a Game night. Bring your favorite board games, mahjong boards, along with your friends! The fun will start at 7:30 PM at Linda’s house. We will have some traditional Chinese New Years food and drinks will be available. AAIM Meeting on Friday, February 9th at 7 PM

The Asian American Intercultural Ministry of Tampa is having their bi-weekly Friday service this Friday, February 9th at 7 PM. The topic will be on “How Do You Know You’re a Christian?” going through the book of 1 John. AAIM of Tampa is a ministry who’s focus is on college or young adult Asian Americans in the Greater Tampa Bay area.

The location will be again on the 2nd floor at Countryside Baptist Church (2525 McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater). If you need a ride or have any questions, feel free to contact Peter Nguyen at 727-644-4947.

Weekly Inductive Bible Study and WinterJam ‘07

Thank you for all of you who attended our first AAIM of Tampa meeting! It was a huge success! Please invite your friends to the next meeting on Friday, January 26th at 7 PM. It will again be at Countryside Baptist Church.

Inductive Weekly Bible Study
The Northwest Tampa Church of God is starting one of the only weekly Precept classes in Tampa this Tuesday, January 16th from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. The class this semester is “Sermon on the Mount”. The class costs $17.50 for the 10-week course. The address is 5131 Gunn Highway in Tampa. They are in the new sanctuary in the multipurpose room upstairs at the front of the building that faces toward the road.

WinterJam ‘07 at the USF Sun Dome
AAIM-sters, this Friday, January 19th is WinterJam ‘07 hosted by NewSong! This event features great Christian artists like Steven Curtis Chapman, Jeremy Camp, Hawk Nelson, Sanctus Real, Britt Nicole, and Tony Nolan. Doors open at 6 PM, concert starts at 7 PM. Best of all, it’s only $10 at the door! AAIM will be meeting at 6:30 PM at the Sun Dome.
