Hope everyone is having a great week so far! Hopefully everyone can open their weekend with a great service this Friday. We will start the night getting to know each other a little bit better with a game called Speed Fellowship. Then lead by some great worship from Peter Chang. We will actually begin a new series called “Fearless: Overcoming Your Biggest Giants” going through the book of 1 Samuel 17. Service will again be at Countryside Baptist Church at 2525 McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater.
Our topic this week will be on the “Fear of Failure” and practical and biblical ways of overcome that fear. Save your appetite because we will have food afterwards. A great conference this Friday evening until Saturday afternoon in Orlando called Fusion Conference is an event for 20 and 30-somethings. It will be a great opportunity to meet and worship with other believers from across the state who are your age. If you are interested in coming along, admission will be $20 per person at the group rate of 5+ people together and $25 per person elsewise. Also, on Saturday evening, February 17th, we will be celebrating the Chinese New Years with a Game night. Bring your favorite board games, mahjong boards, along with your friends! The fun will start at 7:30 PM at Linda’s house. We will have some traditional Chinese New Years food and drinks will be available. The Asian American Intercultural Ministry of Tampa is having their bi-weekly Friday service this Friday, February 9th at 7 PM. The topic will be on “How Do You Know You’re a Christian?” going through the book of 1 John. AAIM of Tampa is a ministry who’s focus is on college or young adult Asian Americans in the Greater Tampa Bay area.
